Okay, so most of you who know me, know that the most important thing in my life is my family. I swear there is nothing better in life than my family and I am grateful that we have much of it. From Billy's family to mine, to our own growing family, there is always something fun going on and a million functions to be a part of. The reason for creating this blogspot? I really wanted to have record of all the great things in my life and the wonderful moments spent with my family, especially my girls. Time flies way too quickly as I have learned and I want to be able to reflect on all of our wonderful moments in life! So in the spirit of the reason why I started this blog, I would like to reflect on my two tiny miracles.. Hannah and Layla.

I am really finding it difficult to swallow the fact that Hannah has turned 4 and Layla 9 months! Wasnt it just yesterday that I was begging Layla to come out early because I wanted her to arrive before my parent's trip to Italy? Whoaaa and I mean Hannah... she has just grown into such an amazing little girl. I cant even wrap my mind around how sick she once was and how differently life almost turned out. Not only is she well.. but she is smart as a whip. So intelligent and so very funny, and very strong willed! Watching her at her birthday party was just amazing! The "bumble bee" theme was a hit and so were my homemade 19 cakes for the kids to decorate! It was technically our first real KIDS party and I cant wait to have more!

We spent this past Sunday in Mystic. It was a blast. Auntie Leanne, Cousin Arielle, Grammy, Momma, Pa, the girls and I. First we went the the aquarium and then downtown. The shops were adorable and I made Billy promise we could go back and do some damage at "The Black Dog." We ate our ice cream, or at least tried to .. most of it melted in the heat! (Leanne, I am still laughing at the image of you handing your ice cream over saying, I just cant do it!!!) We watched the old drawbridge go up and down to let boats through and we took our own mini boat ride. It was great to spend this time with my girls. I dont get to do these fun things too often with them because of work. It was great to see Hannah so happy and boy Layla was a DREAM! I dont think she made a peep once and she spent most of the day in her car seat!!!

I also wanted to wish Auntie Ju-Ju and Uncle Moppy a Happy 2nd Anniversary! HOLY COW that was two years ago????????????? Enjoy your dinner this evening and cheers to that new bean due in November!
